1 Middlegate is a renovated 19th Century stone miner’s cottage with full oil fired central heating.  A wood burning stove set within the original stone fireplace provides extra warmth for those chilly out of season evenings making this a very cosy cottage.

Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with twin beds. The stairs to the bedrooms are fairly steep as they are part of the original cottage. There is an upstairs toilet and sink.

Downstairs there is a well equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge, microwave, washer drier and ample cooking utensils. The separate lounge has two 2 seater sofas and a dining table with four chairs.   There is also a 26” LCD TV, DVD player with a selection of DVDs, Xbox 360 with 2 wireless controllers and a selection of games, and radio/CD player. The downstairs bathroom has a shower, sink and wc.

Well behaved pets are welcome and the cottage is non-smoking.

Off road parking available.

Available on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday but can be flexible - please enquire.
Prices are between £225 and £400.
Short breaks are available.
Electricity, central heating, initial supply of logs for the wood burner, linen and towels are included in the price.
